  • I believe that we each possess an inner wisdom that guides us through life. Our inner wisdom helps us follow our hearts and gives us direction through difficult times. Depending on what we are going through, we may feel lost or disconnected from what we want or how we feel.

I believe that’s where therapy comes in.

I use emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to help individuals, couples, and families navigate what they want and how they feel amidst life’s challenges. EFT helps us make sense of how we get stuck in patterns of thoughts and behaviors and helps us draw connections between how we have struggled in the past. By understanding our thoughts, feelings, and what influences our behavior, we can more easily claim agency over our lives and connect with those we care about.

I am particularly passionate about working with couples who hope to strengthen their bond. I use emotionally focused couple's therapy to help partners improve their sense of self, so they can improve their understanding of each other. Partners are able to foster a deep connection with each other when they can individually connect how they behave, think, and feel in any given context. EFT is a rewarding process because it enhances partners’ abilities to maintain a strong connection through life's twists and turns.

I am affirming of fellow LGBTQIA+ identities, supportive of exploration in realms of gender and sexuality, and happily serve both monogamous and consensually non-monogamous relationship structures.
