  • First things first, I appreciate that you were willing to give me a chance by looking at my biography. I know that therapy can be hard to explore and even harder to commit to but I’ll be here to support you through your journey.

I’ve been in the field for a few years and I’ve been very fortunate to have a wide array of work backgrounds such as mental health alongside substance abuse, working with higher needs children, and community mental health. I have experience working with clients who’ve struggled with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. I also work with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families.

I believe in the power of empathy and active listening, aiming to build strong therapeutic relationships that promote healing and personal growth and my approach to therapy is grounded in creating a safe and nurturing space where clients can feel truly heard and understood as they work through their issues. As a Black man from the Caribbean, I also do my best to elevate Black, Indigenous, and other people of color’s voices to allow for cultural diversity in my work.

Life can be challenging and there is often this pressure that we need to have everything figured out and that we are not allowed to struggle. But that struggle can show us how resilient we really can be.
